Test User Restrictions

Internet testing is worldwide and is accessible to many evaluators in different countries. Professional Online Testing Solutions, Inc. limits the use of its tests to residents of countries that are members of the Berne Convention and the Universal Copyright Convention Treaty.

Professional Online Testing Solutions, Inc. also wants to limit its tests accessibility to responsible, ethical and qualified evaluators. The "Terms & Conditions of Use" (left margin link) was established to help attain that goal. This is why registering a "new account," "logging in to your account," and by clicking on the "Signature Confirmed" button the registrant or evaluators are legally bound to the "Terms and Conditions of use."

While your secretary or administrative assistant may administer the tests, test interpretation is the responsibility of qualified staff. Consequently, the account holder must be the person responsible for test administration.

Professional evaluators understand the importance of controlling access to test booklets, answer sheets and respondent reports. Test booklets, answer sheets and client reports are not to be removed from the evaluator's offices. Furthermore, test booklets, answer sheets and reports must not be given to anyone (clients, offenders, staff, attorneys, etc.) to copy, photocopy or remove from the evaluator's office. All of these test-related materials are copyrighted and the information contained in these reports is confidential. No one should be given a test booklet, answer sheet or report to take home.

Questions regarding these test user restrictions should be e-mailed to Professional Online Testing Solutions, Inc. at info@online-testing.com . [Return to Top]

Multiple Usernames and Passwords

Multiple Usernames and Passwords

Professional Online Testing Solutions, Inc. offers our customers the option of opening an account with multiple usernames and passwords. This is ideal for agencies that have multiple users who, whether in the same office or in different locations, need to be able to access a pool of test credits that have been purchased by that agency or company.

The account administrator purchases test credits. These purchased test credits can then be used by different users, each with their own individual username and password. This is great for enhanced utilization accounting as each user's test utilization can then be tracked individually and/or as a whole (by agency or company-wide).

If you are interested in taking advantage of this option, please contact us for further information and details at info@online-testing.com .

Two Different Ways to Administer Tests

  1. Most Internet testing is done with hard copy paper-pencil tests. The "How To Print Test Booklets & Answer Sheets" link is helpful. It is clear, concise and easy to understand. Printing and then using hard copy test booklets and answer sheets (in English & Spanish) allows for testing in groups, which can save considerable time. Additionally, many evaluators administer hard copy tests to avoid tying up their computers during the tests. After the testing is completed, the staff inputs the answer sheet data and the computer scores the test and prints the test report while online or over the Internet.
  2. Computer monitor test administration involves testing over the Internet. This translates into one computer per person tested. Test items are presented on the test monitor. Upon test completion, the staff can immediately score and print the test report over the Internet. This procedure is convenient in that all functions (test administration, test scoring and print test reports) are completed at the same computer and its connected printer.
Note: regardless of how the tests are administered, all tests are scored and reports are printed on-site.
